The Dindigul Dragons (DD) will compete against the Salem Spartans (SS) in the sixth game of the current  TNPL 2024 at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem, scheduled for Monday, July 8.

On Saturday, the Dindigul Dragons kicked off their TNPL 2024 campaign with a 16-run victory over the Trichy Grand Cholas. After being chosen to bat first, the Ravichandran Ashwin-led Dragons racked up 160/8 in their 20 overs, thanks to Shivam Singh’s 78 runs from 51 balls. In response, the Trichy Grand Cholas were limited to 144/8, with Ashwin shining with figures of 3/18 in his four overs.

Conversely, the Salem Spartans had a rough start to their TNPL 2024 campaign, losing by four wickets in their inaugural match against the Siechem Madurai Panthers. The match was a high-scoring affair, with the Madurai Panthers scoring 180/7 in their 20 overs after R Kavin and Vishal Vaidhya scored half-centuries.
