Ruturaj Gaikwad gets a Yorkshire county deal.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, an Indian batter, has signed a contract with Yorkshire and is ready for his first appearance in the County Championship. Gaikwad will be a member of the team until the end of the season. When he will also play in the One-Day Cup, and will join before their Championship match against Surrey next month.

Gaikwad is a member of the India A team in England at the moment. But he hasn’t participated in either of the two matches against the England Lions. The 28-year-old has actually been out of play for over two months. After sustaining an elbow injury during an IPL match that prevented him from competing in the competition.

Although he has only participated in 29 ODI and T20I matches for India thus far. Gaikwad holds seven first-class cricket hundreds and sixteen List A hundreds. Since the previous year, he has served as the Chennai Super Kings’ captain.

Gaikwad declared after signing, “I’m excited to be joining up with Yorkshire for the rest of the English domestic season.” “I’ve always wanted to play cricket in this country, and Yorkshire is the biggest club in England.
