India, the hosts will play Sri Lanka on September 30 to start their Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 campaign in Bengaluru.
The full schedule has been revealed, and Colombo, a neutral location chosen to host Pakistan’s league matches, has been given 11 round-robin matches, including four against Sri Lanka. All of the games are scheduled to start at 3 PM IST and run day-night.
In addition to Pakistan (October 24), Sri Lanka will have the chance to “host” Australia (October 4), New Zealand (October 14), South Africa (October 17), and Bangladesh (October 20) in front of the domestic audience. The ICC had previously disclosed that Colombo is also a floating option for semifinal 1 (October 29) and the final (November 2), should Pakistan advance to the knockout stages.
On October 1, the defending champions Australia will play the defending T20 champions New Zealand at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on the second day of the competition.
India will play their league match against Pakistan on Sunday, October 5. The high-stakes match between India and Australia will take place in Vizag the following Sunday, October 12. On Sunday, October 26, India will play Bangladesh in the last round of their round-robin matches in Bengaluru. England, the runners-up in 2022, will play New Zealand in Guwahati on the final day of league-phase play.
